Introduction:

‘A Short Monsoon Diary’ is a compilation of a few diary entries of the world renowned writer, Ruskin Bond. These extract states about the silent miracles of nature. ‘A short monsoon diary’ deals with the experience of Ruskin Bond during the monsoon season in the mountains. He has described the salient features of the nature, its undefined beauty and all the flora and fauna that emerge out during season. Ruskin Bond had spent a large of his life in India and was deeply inspired by the natural beauty of the mountains. In the story he has described the flowers, plants, creepers and all kinds of insects, reptiles and animals that he witnessed during monsoon.
