Paper Structure

JEE Main consists of 2 papers Le. Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper 1 conducted in the morning session and Paper 2 conducted ¡n the afternoon session.

Paper1

  1. For admission to BE. or B.Tech courses offered at various NITs, lITs, DTU, and other central and state4unded institutions.
  2. Questions in paper 1 will be from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
  3. The time duration is 3 hours.
  4. For each correct answer, the student will be awarded 4 marks while 1 mark will be deducted in case of every wrong answer. There is no negative marking for an unattempted question.
  5. Only one response has to be filled in, more than one response ¡s considered as a wrong answer and marks will be deducted.
  6. The question paper will be of 360 marks, having a total of 90 questions with 30 questions from each Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
